About Dora the Explorer
Dora the Explorer is a children's animated television series on Nickelodeon that features Dora exploring to find something or helping someone. Dora speaks English and Spanish and teaches viewers spanish words.
Boots the monkey is Dora's best friend and explores with her on most adventures. Dora the Explorer also features Swiper the sneaky fox that tries to steal items that help Dora in her quests. Dora's purple Backpack provides items to help her complete her adventures and the Map offers guidance and advice. The Fiesta Trio, a snail, grasshopper and frog, congratulate Dora to celebrate achievements in her quests.
The adventures of Dora and her friends encourage infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and early childhood children to learn and discover, solve problems through exploration as they play and explore.
