Learning with Wiggles Musical Instruments
Thursday, January 6th, 2011If you have a little fan of the Wiggles, then you’ll be familiar with the sounds of Jeff, Sam, Murray and Anthony from the Wiggles.
The Wiggles offer a plethora of children’s songs for your toddler to sing-along to and no doubt your child probably has their favorite songs that they know the words by heart and sing along to with Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and friendly pirate, Captain Feathersword. Maybe it’s ‘Hot Potato, Hot Potato’ or ‘Toot Toot Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car‘.
Introducing musical instruments to children at a young age is a fun and creative way for children to learn about music and sounds and enhance their skills.
Research has shown that children that are actively involved in music, those that sing regulary or play a musical instrument are more likely to have improved skills in reading and mathematics when they start to attend school. They also have improved social skills and foster a higher self-esteem and an enhanced ability to focus and control body movements and co-ordination.
At Characters ‘n’ Toons we have an extensive range of Wiggles toys that includes the popular Wiggles musical instruments to encourage music and sound in creative play in toddlers.
The Wiggles guitar plays popular Wiggles songs and features real guitar sounds and drum songs that is perfect for little fans to dance and sing along with the Wiggles and Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword.
