Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

An overview of the Secret Treasure episode from the children’s television series Roary the Racing Car written by Di Redmond, so if you haven’t seen the Roary the Racing Car Secret Treasure episode, spoilers follow.

Secret Treasure

“Treasure comes in all shapes and sizes.”

Farmer Green is loading hay bails, when suddenly FB, Farmer Green’s pickup truck arrives and announces that there is rubbish all over the beach and suggests that they go and clean it up immediately. Farmer Green replies that they can’t go and clean up the beach right away as they need to take the hay bails to the farm and drop off some fuel at Silver Hatch

In the workshop at Silver Hatch, Big Chris is working on CiCi while CiCi reads and singing while Roary is drinking from a plastic bottle. Roary throws the bottle at the bin, but misses and Cici and Big Chris remind Roary that there won’t be any litterbugs in this workshop and the plastic bottle should go in the dust bin.

Cici asks Big Chris about the strange looking man in the book, to which he replies that it’s Silver Beard the Pirate, who sailed away to a treasure island and dug up a chest of silver and gold.

Out on the track Roary tells Tin Top and Drifter that he’s going to the beach to look for treasure and when he finds it, he’ll buy Big Chris a new karaoke machine.

Back on the Farm, FB asks Farmer Green if they can now go to the beach yet, but he replies that they still have to deliver the fuel to Silver Hatch and they’ll go as soon as they can.

Roary, Tin Top and Drifter arrive at the beach to find it covered in litter and decide that they have to clean it up. Drifter activates his magnet to clean up all the metal on the beach, but also cleans up Tin Top too.

Back at the workshop Big Chris finishes up working on Cici and they wonder where all the other cars have gone.

At the beach Roary, Tin Top and Drifter have tidied up the beach and they are now ready to dig for treasure. Roary finds some treasure, but it’s only a flip flop, so they put it in the bin.

At Silver Hatch, Farmer Green is delivering the fuel and Big Chris asks if he’s seen Roary, Drifter and Tin Top, but Farmer Green hasn’t. Molecom overhears and announces that he saw the racecars heading towards the beach. Farmer Green and FB become concerned that noone should be playing on the beach because it’s covered in litter.

At the beach, Roary is searching for treasure and suddenly Farmer Green, FB, Big Chris, Plugger and Cici arrive to find the beach all cleaned up. Roary explains that it was covered in rubbish and he, Drifter and Tin Top cleaned it up – plastic bottles, metal cans and waste paper all ready for Farmer Green to recycle. Farmer Green and FB praise the racecars for their efforts, but Big Chris is concerned that they never got permission to leave Silver Hatch. The racecars apologize and tell Big Chris that they were looking for treasure, but couldn’t find any. Big Chris sees the bucket of rubbish and explains that he’s found treasure – a flip flop that he lost, a new bucket to drain the oil from the cars and an oil can.

An overview of the Stars ‘n’ Cars episode from the children’s television series Roary the Racing Car written by Dave Ingham, so if you haven’t seen the Roary the Racing Car Stars ‘n’ Cars episode, spoilers follow.

Stars 'n' Cars

“If you follow a dream, it can come true.”

Roary and CiCi are pacing the Silver Hatch race track, while Big Chris is singing in his workshop, when suddenly Marsha arrives with a letter for Big Chris.

Roary and CiCi arrive back in the workshop after racing, which Roary won.
On reading the letter, Big Chris discovers that he’s been selected to compete on Karaoke TV.

Big Chris can’t believe that he’s been picked to go on Karaoke TV and starts thinking about what he should sing. Roary tells Big Chris that he never realized he was so serious about singing, but Big Chris tells him, it’s always wanted to be a singer, it’s his dream and you should follow your dreams.

Mr. Carburettor arrives in the workshop and tells Big Chris that he’s so happy that he’s going to be singing on television and it’s a great opportunity to promote the Silver Hatch race track, so he’s sending Hellie, the bright red and purple helicopter to pick him up.

CiCi discovers that Roary is sad that Big Chris is going to sing on Karaoke TV because if he wins, he’ll leave Silver Hatch. CiCi reassures Roary telling him that Big Chris loves it here and won’t leave. Roary thinks that if he shows Big Chris just how much they need him at Silver Hatch, he won’t leave.

Roary and CiCi race around the track and Roary gets out of control around a corner and crashes getting stuck in mud, just like he planned. CiCi leaves to go and get Big Chris. Marsha arrives to help and wants to pull Roary out of the mud, but Roary wants to wait for Big Chris, to show him how much he’s needed. Marsha and CiCi manage to pull Roary out, just as Big Chris arrives.

Roary goes to Big Chris’ caravan and seeing his costume for his Karaoke TV performance, takes it and puts in the workshop. Big Chris discovers it’s missing and goes looking for it, finding it in the workshop.

The racing cars at Silver Hatch give Big Chris a parade to celebrate singing on television and Big Chris leaves in Hellie.

The racecars watch Big Chris on television, cheering him on. Big Chris dedicates the song to Roary, singing “When you follow your dreams, you will know how it feels to be happy in that special way”.

To Big Chris’ suprise, he wins. Back in the workshop Roary is worried that Big Chris won’t come back and is suprised when he returns. Big Chris tells Roary that Silver Hatch is where he belongs.
